The restaurant and Bar play on contrasting materials and textures: the concrete floor and poured concrete walls are offset by seemingly weightless furniture: square tables with metal bases give the illusion that they are floating. The restaurant is open from Monday to Friday, from midday to 2.30pm and from 7pm to 10.30pm, and on Saturdays in the evening from 7pm to 10.30pm.

- The lounge uses symmetry and artistic pretence to create a thoroughly designer atmosphere: a black and white trompe l'il mirror effect is achieved with a woollen carpet that portrays a classical French ceiling while the ceiling has itself been covered with a wall paper printed with the same ceiling. over prized designer place to be hotel
The hotel 'Maison Champs-Elysées', redesigned / decorated by Martin Margiela, has to be one of the ugliest, cold, sterile places I have ever seen. Stark and depressing. Half the rooms and a huge diamond prism look like a cheap lighting showroom for picture lights. Mr Martin Margiela certainly did not earn his money. The hotel should get a refund. The classic exterior and the location are the best things of this hotel.

Travel 4 Fun
Classic Boutique Hotel
Room was nice, especially for a 4 star hotel in Paris, but the service was significantly lacking. For example, the mini bar in the room was half empty on arrival and it took 4 days to replenish. Similarly, coffee supplies took days to replenish even after numerous requests. Finally, we ordered coffee from room service, which arrived 45 minutes later even after we were told it would be delivered in 10 minutes. Some freebies like complimentary drinks were a nice touch. Classic boutique-type hotel.

The staff was helpful and very friendly. The room was nice and very clean. The location was good just 2 blocks to a metro stop and in a very nice area. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

Light Traveller
A good change from the transitional style of hotel
Excellent location, the stuf were very friendly and helpful, I like the TV was Apple TV and you got a few good movies that were free. This hotel is very different from the traditional style of hotel and I think it's good value for the money you pay. I will definitely go back again.

If you are shopping for specific brand, make sure you check online first the address of the shop. If the brand has multiple shops in Paris, note down all of them! Because often one of them might be closed (especially if you are going to Paris in August!).

good location
This hotel has almost finished renovations. My husband said the rooms are a bit bigger than your standard European hotel room. The staff was friendly and could understand our simple English speaking requests. All rooms have a Mac computer with free WiFi. The location is a good spot to be in between the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. The breakfast provided in the morning is expensive for the selection, but that is usually at any hotel. Calling internationally was cheap from the hotel too! The downside? Don't expect so much out of European hotels. There are a lot of complaints, but this was a simple, comfortable and clean hotel!

The hotel is just a few blocks off the Champs Elysees and easy to walk to major shopping on that street and close to a Metro to get you to other shopping districts.

L'accueil est courtois et symp
L'accueil est courtois et sympathique! La chambre est relativement peu spacieuse pour un quatre étoiles. Le petit déjeuner, à notre demande, a été servi en chambre à l'heure voulue. Dans l'ensemble, l'appréciation est positive mais les prestations sont assez quelconques pour un "quatre étoiles".
