Argentiere BandB Apartments Florence

A ce prix là, on pouvait s'attendre à bien mieux! Le parking était soi disant gratuit, alors qu'il coûte 15euros par jour! En y ajoutant le petit déjeuner et les taxes supplémentaires, la nuit pour une chambre double revient à plus de 100 francs suisses! Le rapport qualité prix est donc désolant! Chambre mal chauffée, équipements vétustes et personnel douteux (de l'argent a disparu, pas étonnant quand les clés des chambres sont rangées dans le couloir!) Buffet déjeuner plutôt pauvre, service minimal, sans même laver les tables après passages des clients! Nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel!

We were very happy with our choice. Staff very helpful and pleasant, really nice breakfast. Room was clean and very large. Great stay!

The hotel is in a great location, just minutes drive from the Florence city center. The rooms are clean and uniquely decorated, with plenty of space. The downsides are that the beds were not the most comfortable, and breakfast cost 5 Euro per person, which was not really worth it. There is a 2 Euro per person city tax that you will also have to pay when you check out.

Stayed here for 2 nights in August in one of the rear rooms. Room was clean and basic. Bed was old & very squeaky, but comfortable. The room did have 2 air conditioners (a real bonus in the hot weather!) There were a few issues however; the shower struggled to drain & nearly overflowed, the hair dryer was broken and the free wifi had no signal in the room (we saw a couple of people with similar problems standing outside their doors to get reception.) Also, despite listing free carparking on their website, this was charged at €15 p/n. Despite pointing this out to management, at the time of writing it has not been corrected on the website. Otherwise, the hotel was ok, 15min bus ride from Florence and comfy to sleep in. Breakfast was basic and at €5 p/p you can still do better at the local cafe on the way to catch the bus.

The hotel is very nice. The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful. I forgot to get an electrical plug adapter and they provided me with one during my stay, even had a wine opener at hand when needed. They room maintenance is really up ti high standard and discreet. The "cherry of the cake" is that they have a nice large terrace (about 100 sq.m) for sitting/discussing/dining. A nice terrace with a great view.

The loft for 4 people was great! Spacious, luminious, stylish and very modern. The staff at the reception was very helpful and nice. Walking time to Ponte Vecchio is about 25 minutes. There is a bus as well, but we preferred walking.Free parking space, quiet and nice residential area. The view from the roof top terrace was amazing.

Hotel lost our prepaid reservation and at first had no rooms. Finally rearranged and put us in two dingy rooms and charged us again. Found the reservation the next day...said owner said that he had put it to the side and forgot to enter it (along with the payment apparently). Then they tried to refund the money. Finally after several tries they were successful. Hotel room that we were assigned was not very clean. And none of the plugs other than the one in the bathroom worked. They did have WiFi...so I got to use it standing in the bathroom where I could plug my computer in. Continental breakfast was very limited...prepackaged croissants, bread...no cheese or meat which are typical at other similar places we stayed on the trip. Hotel staff were extremely helpful. A GPS to find the hotel is essential if you are driving.

It looked nice and modern, but the stairs were very noisy, toilet seat was loose, and paint peeling in the bathroom. When we reported the toilet seat broken and someone came to tend to it, all that was done was get the hinge back on, but the seat still loosened and slid when seated. The worst might were the mosquitoes. Whenever we returned, our room had mosquitoes; it probably happened when the cleaning person came in and left the door open. I killed 5 mosquitoes one night! Also, the place was very dark with very little lighting. In regard to breakfast, I've had better continental breakfasts at Best Westerns in the US. The breakfast at Argentiere was the most inferior breakfast I've had at a lodge. This place would be a whole lot better with better upkeep/maintenance, keeping mosquitoes out by closing guest room doors when cleaning, and a better breakfast selection.

La éco est un peu désuette. Grace au bus, l'éloignement n'est pas un problème. Le quartier est calme et le parking gratuit un plus. L'accueil est très sympathique.

These apartments were beautifully kept and spacious, cleaned daily, and within walking distance to a small set of shops and the bus stop. With a ten minute bus ride into the centre of Florence we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this hotel to couples or families travelling to Florence.
