You will find the hotel opposite the station. Parking: 20 parking spaces for guests just 70 metres from the hotel. BY PLANE: From Cristoforo Colombo Airport By TAXI in approximately 15 minutes or the public shuttle service which departs from the airport's arrivals area and arrives directly at Principe Station. You will find the Continental Hotel opposite the station. Transfer Service from/to the airport is available upon request.

Excellent service and very friendly. Breakfast is exceptional catering for all tastes and enough to fill you for a whole day. Close to station so ideal for day trips to Portofino and Cinque Terre. Could not fault this hotel at all.

Stayed for 6 days, was decent
Good: Clean, friendly, free water and tea, elevators, friendly staff Bad: Small and fuzzy TV, shower water has inconsistent temperatures (fluctuates between cold and hot), heater not especially powerful, internet can be slow

Short walk from hotel
There is a restaurant down the road (same side as hotel) that serves pizza and pasta. It's a much cheaper option, compared to the hotel restaurant.

Easy to locate, poor service and noisy
Located right in front of the train station and within easy walking distance of town center. I felt the service was poor and the breakfast buffet was very simple fare and in limited quantities, so if you want to eat better be there early. Room was very cold the first night, so I spoke to management next day and they said someone would be up to repair. I received a call from reception telling me the problem was fixed and no access into the room was required. However, that night someone was smoking and the smoke came right into my room so i had to open the window to get some fresh and very cold air. Door did not seal properly so all the outside corridor noise can be heard. Walls and floors are evidently very thin because you can hear just about everything. Plus the windows do not insulate the outside noise either, so you will hear all the traffic noise at night. Bed was comfortable, though. Bathroom was a bit small and the shower was very tiny, so if you are a bigger person you will have difficulties. Elevator is one of those tiny old-fashioned types with very little room for one person and baggage. Overall not a pleasant experience.

Just a few doors down from the hotel there is a very good ristorante with excellent food/service at very reasonable prices.

Good, city centre hotel
High on service; low on style. Very clean & comfortable. Excellent location for city centre and all transport. Would stay there again.

Buena localización, a 100m de
Buena localización, a 100m de la estación de Genova P. Principe, relativamente tranquila y a unos 300m del inmenso paseo marítimo. Magnifico desayuno.

Excellent hotel, staff were friendly
Excellent hotel, staff were friendly and helpful. Close to the main train station. I would recommend this one to those people that want an historic hotel that has all the mod cons. Mike & Julia, Australia.
