The breakfast was mediocre at best yet we were charged for it, even though all the other hotels that we stayed at in Italy, provided complementary breakfast, with numerous options - like real coffee. Holiday Inn, however, chooses to provide disgusting instant coffee. "Ciao? Italy calling. Get a clue, please."
Also, the amount of money they charged for the room was way too much for what they offered. Maybe it is a competitive price for Milano, but we will be staying somewhere better next time.

simply excellent.very clean and large room.the staff was very helpful and instructed us perfectly.the breakfast was one of the best i had ever had.the only downside is the distance to the nearest metro station but it really is of no real significance

I need to bring to your attention that when my husband and I went to check out they wanted to charge us again. They stated they never take advance payment. We should them out itinerary and that our bank out was already charged. They took a copy of everything and said they were still going to charge us again. You need to look into this for us. They also were going to give us a different rate than you did. For six night they were going to only charge 479 euro, this is less than we paid in US. This also needs to be looked at, we should receive the discounted rate in our package. Thanking you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter.

This hotel was a nice surprise. All amenities were wonderful. Rooms very nice. Price was high but it may have been due to time of year or a local event.

We took advantage of the free shuttle to Milan Malpensa Airport. The hotel's proximity to the airport was a major draw. It allowed us to sleep a little later in a comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed room before embarking on the long flight home. Dining was okay but not fabulous.

Een echt hotel als in de film met alles er op en aan,kamer meisjes en piccolo.
het meubilair is wat verouderd maar de service is perfect , kamer wordt meerdere keren per dag schoongemaakt , ontbijt buffet is prima en personeel is allemaal heel aardig.
En als je komt om te shoppen is de ligging van het hotel ideaal.

Comfortable room in a decent location. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly. They even presented all the ladies with flowers on Festa Della Donna. Room was quiet even with the windows open.

Nice hotel with OK price and a fitness center (hard to find in Milan). Very small bathroom, and the drain didn't work properly. Nice breakfast. We expected free wifi in the rooms/lobby, but you had to pay for it.

The room was excellent - roomy, with a very comfortable bed. The staff was very courteous,the location for me is excellent, and I will definitely stay there again. (as long as the prices don't do up - Italian hotels are very expensive and this is no exception, but better than others that I have tried)

We were two mature couples on a tourist trip through Northern Italy [Milan, Lakes, Venice]. Our rooms were excellent beyond our expectations! The staff were courteous, helpful and spoke English. We visited the usual tourist sites in Milan and enjoyed our stay.

Okay for business and fairly well placed for walking into the centre (c. 20 minutes). Room was okay but facilities basic - carpet not that clean.
Prices in restaurant quite ridiculous but great patisserie opposite the hotel or Accor Hotel does basic breakfasts too at a reasonable price. Cocktails with Apertivo can work out well price wise and cocktails are very good! Business facilities quite basic.

The ATA Hotel was surprisingly good value for money. Cleanliness and service was a plus throughout. Our room was very spacious with all the amenities including daily changes of towels. Location was perfect with the metro stop on the red city line just steps from the hotel.
The only improvements would be to include a few kitchen wares in the rooms that have a kitchen and also some access to a computer connected to the internet in addition to the wireless network that they offer for a price.
It gets 3 stars and perhaps 4 considering the value for money.

The rooms are okay, nothing special. Gym has a decent running machine. Breakfast is good by European standards.
Location is fantastic -- 3 minutes walk to Duomo, 5 minutes walk to main shopping streets.

un hotel avec de grande chambre, propre, avec petit frigo ou est fournit gracieusement des petites bouteilles d'eau, une salle d'eau et rangement.
ils fournissent gratuitement aussi un lit bébé durant le sejour.
le gros soucis c'est l'emplacement, l'hotel est vraiment loin de milan, il faut prendre la voiture sur plus de 3km pour prendre le métro (au moin 15/20min de trajet) pour atteindre milan.
de plus l'hotel ce situe en face d'un petit fleuve, qui avec la chaleur italienne, amène énormément de moustique. (franchement c'est la folie!!!!)

the hotel was clean, perhaps a little off the closest attractions, but still a walkable distance,. u could take the tram to porto venezia , (which is 5 stops away) where a lot of shops are. i dont believe the previous reviews do the hotel justice. staff is nice and friendly, breakfast was good, despite a small selection.
the hotel is not luxurious, but for the price the service, it was GOOD!

Got a bit concerned abt room-location facing the Piazza Missori would be noisy with all the squeeking tramways and traffic running close by, but a double window arrangemnt eliminated that concern nicely! Super location in the centre of Milan.

พวกเราเดินกลับมาโรงแรมพร้อมถุงช้อปปิ้งมากมาย โดยที่หอบนิดหน่อย เพราะหนักของที่ถือมาด้วย

We found the reception staff arrogant and unhelpful and would not have stayed here had it not been for the fact it was extrememly hot outside, we were tired from train travelling all day and we were in a city never visited before!!!! We were treated like an inconvenience!!!
The cost of using the WIFI in the lobby way toooo high compared to other hotel where we stayed, during our time in Europe and in most cases it was free to its guests!
The breakfast staff were indifferent and when asked by several guests to turn down the music that was piped loudly into the dining room this was refused.
When we requested ice for our room this was also refused.
We will be recommending that friends and family DO NOT stay here!!!

Das Hotel ist mit dem Shuttle-Bus von Malpensa sehr gut erreichbar. Lage sehr zentral. Nähe zum Bahnhof ( Metro ) und 25 Minuten zu Fuß bis ins Zentrum. Zimmerausstattung sehr gut. Zum Frühstück gibt es ALLES - wirklich sehr gut. Einziges Manko sind die Betten. Die sind sehr hart und die Matratzen sollten mal erneuert werden.
Ansonsten ist das Hotel zu empfehlen.

Hotel not seen, report written with aid of website. RC 09/2008 Modern hotel. The closest hotel to the new pavilions of the Fiera Milano. It is also situated opposite the IOL Stadium (ex-Palalido) and also oposite the most important open-air public swimming pool of Milan. It is very close to the Mazda Palace (ex-Pala Vobis), to the Tennis Club of Milan (where important international events are held), to Meazza soccer stadium of San Siro and to the Hippodrome.
The red line n°1 from the underground (metro) is only 100 meters away and easily connects us with the historic center of the city and other important destinations such as the train station and the air terminal to to reach Milan airports (Malpensa, Linate and Orio al Serio).

visited many local sites by using the subway which was located nearby. Desk clerks were excellent guides for Milan. They were helpful with directions and suggestions of places to visit. Parking was extra and close to the hotel.

I went on holiday with my girlfriend. I stayed at the hotel two different times because the first time was great. The location is a bit far away from downtown but the metro is super close (block and a half) and also a few blocks away there is an airport shuttle bus stop. Staff was always very helpful with directions and recommendations.

overall very nice. Shuttle p/u at airport was full and promissed to return in 10-15 minutes, was closer to 45. Return to airport was right on time, took 5 min.

This is a perfect location for that sad last night of vacation prior to leaving from Malpensa airport. Clean room; efficient and friendly staff; one of the better continental breakfasts we had all week! The airport is 5 minutes away by shuttle which they arranged at the time we preferred. We would definitely recommend this.
