Monopole Hotel Milan

Although the area is not so attractive, it is close to Central Station and the metro, making it a good base for visiting Milan. The room was very clean and comfortable and despite the traffic outside was quiet. A slightly odd arrangement of lifts serving the rooms at the rear of the hotel is no real problem. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

If you going for a day-trip to Venice or Florence, or Lugano, or Torino - you'd estimate this hotel as a capital start point: only 3-4 minutes by step to Milano Centrale. Clean rooms, good breakfast (with eggs, ham, cheese etc. and a lot of sweets for coffee!). The only trouble is the trams just under the window. But if you are not plan to stay in Milan for 1 month - this hotel is a great idea.

The hotel looked SO much better in the pictures. Creative picture taking, i guess. At first, I thought they had given me the keys to a dungy dreary janitor closet. Alas, it turned out to be my room. It was disgusting and the beds were hard as rocks. i would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

We visited Milan with my boyfriend for a weekend and it was our first time there. The hotel was really eay to get to and the location was perfect. It is right next to Milano Centrale station (train available from Malpensa Airport -takes 40min) and its a half an hour walk away from the center!! (or you can take a number of trams and get there quicker!) Overall, not a bad hotel! Although I paid same price for a similar location hotel in paris and lets just say I was much happier with it than this hotel! Its very basic and not modern!

Terrible. There is a certain expectation I have for a standard room at a 3 star hotel - that it qualifies for 3 stars! The standard rooms are ones that seem to be rented by the hour, if you follow my drift. My wife immediately walked out of the room (at 10pm at night) and refused to re-enter. The upgrade to the superior room (which is what you see in the photos) was arranged, and was an improvement. Still, not anywhere near the standard of other 3 star hotels I've seen through the world.

Very old. Room and bathroom need complete renovation.

交通很方便,就在Milano Centrale站隔一條街(約5分鐘),房間大小尚可,乾淨,但設備偏舊,而且房內插座只有一個(是插著電冰箱的插頭,要拔下來才能用,另一個在廁所><),有免費wifi可用(但i phone不能用,只能用電腦),考量價格和方便性,應是會再光顧的飯店!

Our rooms were upgraded because of renovations - very good quality beds and fittings. Location was excellent for us - walking distance to Milano Centrale station.

This is not a fancy hotel but it is clean, confortable, convenient and an excellent value. The staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. The hotel is right next to the central train station and this makes traveling from and to the airport extremely efficient. The downtown can be easily accessed via subway (2-3 stations) from the train station. We highly recommend this hotel.
