Bellambriana Hotel Rome

This hotel was a terrible experience and a horrible way to end our vacation in Italy. This hotel looks decent on the outside but is really lacking once you walk through the door. I am very fair and do not typically like to write negative reviews but this hotel is a trap. I am furious that I spent $300 here for 2 nights. Our hotel room was like a sauna the first night registering 27 degrees celsius on the first night and after three attempts to get this fixed the gentleman at the front desk merely stated that I must have done it wrong because the window was open. I understand that opening the windows turns off the A/C but ours was shut. Don't use anything in the bathroom upon turning on the shower everything in the bathroom was sprayed. You can stand outside of the shower with the door shut and take your shower. Not to mention the job they do on repairing things, our hair dryer was clearly taped back together and on the head board there were missing laminants with gum stuck where they used to be. Awful Awful place! On the second night there was a musician playing until well past 11pm incredibly loud where we could hear him on the 2nd floor clear as day when we needed to catch a flight the next day and leave by six. The person who answered the phone at the front desk did not offer to have this turned down but that he would end at 12pm as if that was a real solution. Please! For your sake do not stay here.

My wife and I just got back from our honeymoon and stayed at two hotels before and after our cruise in the Med. This was the second hotel we stayed at and it paled in comparrison to the first. This hotel does not have wifi in the rooms. You have to pay for it and its only an ethernet cord. The staff was fairly rude, and were not at all helpful. The first hotel we stayed at offered a free shuttle service that took us straight to the center of Rome and would drop us off at the Vatican directly (since it was on the way) if we wanted. This hotel told us there was a bus stop close by...We chose our hotels based on price and were lookiing for a something in the 75-100 dollar range per night. If I had known this hotel was going to provide so much less I would have stayed at the first hotel twice. Over all I wouldn't say this was a horrible hotel, because it was clean and safe, but I would highly recommend staying at the Zone hotel over this one. The prices were comparable, but the dollar value for what you got was way better at the The Zone.

Nous étions un peu déçu - le standard correspond plus à un hôtel *** qu'à un hôtel ****. En plus, nous l'avions choisi pour la piscine intérieure mais elle était fermée. Il faisait très chaud dans la chambre (entre 26° et 30°) sachant que le chauffage était toujours éteint (c'était début mars). La chambre était très propre et la salle de bains confortable et moderne. Sachez qu'il faut compter au moins 45 min pour rejoindre le centre-ville avec les transports publics (bus+métro).
