Erdarelli Hotel Rome

I stayed one night at Hotel Erdarelli for one night and I went in with 2 Star expectations and was disappointed. Pros: Location is easy walking distance to most Rome attractions Breakfast was decent Staff was good Cons: Room hadn't been updated in 50+ years Most of the power outlets in the room didn't work** Bed was more like a cot Wifi only available in lounge **Hotel was working at updating the electrical and actually moved me to a different hotel at no cost because of these issues. Would I stay there again? Probably not.

80 pounds for 2 nights next to the spanish steps. awkward room, old doors but bathroom was adequate. All in all, fine for the price and the location in Rome.

Disgusting is probably not strong enough a word for my room. The hotel seems to be renovating at the moment but I was on the 3rd floor and really, they should not charge for these old rooms as they are at risk of not meeting basic health and safety standards!! I have travelled a lot all over the world staying in many different hotels and this is the most disgusting I have ever been to. Cons: - walls disintegrating - carpets very old, stained & not hoovered often - wifi only in reception area - breakfast - only few cereals, orange juice & pastries - bathrooms (shared) look like they were rarely cleaned - a dirty facecloth & hair & dust were never cleaned from the bathroom during my 3 day stay. - hallway walls & carpets were badly water stained - No hair dryer in room - no access to an iron available nor did they want to arrange one / help. I had to buy a new dress for the wedding I was attending because I couldn't get access to an iron. - curfew imposed during the week because they close between 1.30am and 5.30am. This was very inconvenient. Pros: - Clean bed sheets & towels - staff nice but do not want to go out of their way to help - central location The hotel, while cheaper than the other hotels in Rome, was not value for money.

I visited this hotel for five days. it was terrible and under my bed I founded underwear. Dirty and small rooms, unkind staff working in the hotels. First I've got a room without bad. And after discussion I get a room with bad, but I had to pay 40 EUR! Breakfast terrible and dirty. We can't closed the windows and very noisy during the nights. Please, never go to this hotel!!

hôtel vraiment très bien placé pour visiter le centre de Rome. Toutes les visites de monuments et musées peuvent se faire à pied sans aucun problème. Les chambres sont propres, le personnel très sympa. A conseiller pour des budgets moyens.

J'ai séjourné pour un weekend de demande en mariage. > Dans mon cas pas de soucis car ma copine n'est pas une "précieuse". Le monsieur âgé à l'accueil (présent souvent le soir et la nuit) est très accueillant et serviable (aide taxi, conseils, etc). La jeune au ménage et au petit déjeuner est également très accueillante. Par contre il y a une femme qui est de temps en temps à l'accueil la journée qui est assez froide. La chambre est basique (pas de douches, pas de clim mais des ventilateurs) par contre présence d'un lavabo dans la chambre. Les douches communes sont des bains sans pommeaux. Je vous conseille de prendre des gants de toilettes pour se laver au lavabo et surtout se rafraîchir l'été. Mais venant pour visiter ROME et pas l'hôtel ces inconvénients paraissent peu importants notamment face à la position stratégique de l'hôtel dans ROME. Il est proche du métro et du centre. Autrement dit si vous voulez du confort, ce n'est pas un hôtel pour vous > Durée longue pas conseillé. Par contre si vous voulez visiter Rome facilement et à petit prix et pour un weekend c'est le bon choix.

The stuff are very very nice. location: everything is a walking distance. Style is pure Italian. Breakfast is nice as well.

Rome is such a beautiful city that nothing can ruin the experience of being there. However, after a long day of strolling in the streets, one needs a properly working shower and easily flushing toilet. This hotel, while its location is quite good, fails to provide the basic needs of its customers, most importantly a functioning bathroom. My bathroom was so small that if I was a larger person, it would be impossible for me to fit in. The water running from the shower was either boiling or freezing. The shower head could not be mounted on its pole, which meant that I had to hold it with one hand, while shampooing myself with the other. The room itself was so tiny that there was hardly any space for my luggage. It looked clean, but it needed overall maintenance. Over the years, I have stayed at various 2-star hotels in Italy, but this hotel was probably the least satisfactory.

nécessite vraiment des travaux de rénovation la salle de bain en partage que nous avions été très délabrée et sale ( le ménage a été fait suite à notre demande) les fenêtres ferment mal d'où les nuisances sonores (boules quies indispensables !)
