Trevi Hotel Rome

Sijainti oli erinomainen mutta viiden kerros ilman hissiä ei kovin kiva. Etenkin kun toisena päivänä avainkortti oli lakannut toimimasta ja sai rampata portaat turhaan useamman kerran. Hotellin suihkusta ei tullut yhtenä päivänä lainkaan kylmää vettä, vika korjattiin seuraavan päivän illaksi. Henkilökunta oli hieman tympeää. Aamiainen oli erinomainen. Sijainti paras mahdollinen.

Hotel Trevi is just a very short walking distance to the Trevi Fountain but some rooms are located in a different building inconvenient to the reception/office. I requested my breakfast to be delivered in my room on the other building at 7:00 a.m. but it did not arrive. A staff came at 7:45 a.m. just to get the menu order but I needed to be out of the hotel at 8:00 a.m. for an appointment so I cancelled the breakfast delivery. I asked for a refund but the person on the desk was very rude and insulting. I have to undergo this long process to get a refund from my pre-paid breakfast. There is no porter service until before 7:30 a.m. so if you have a very early morning flight, and if you are on the 5th floor, you'll have to bring your suitcase inside a very small and crude elevator that has 2 doors which you have to slam hard to close when you're inside. Taking morning showers was an ordeal because of very weak water pressure and only drops or drizzle come out of the shower head. For the price of $140/day is highway robbery. Never again!

We stayed at Hotel Trevi and it was perfect. The breakfast room is small but get up early. The food was great. The people are very friendly especially Simona. The hotel is on a very small street very close to Trevi Fountain. It is centrally located in Rome so you can walk to everything. We will stay here again the next time we return to Rome.

Perfect location I was able to literally walk to any tourist destination without a problem. Got the room for 4 person. Awesome would totally recommend this hotel to anyone. Breakfast was adequate good enough. Value wise very2 satisfied.

We signed up to stay at Trevi Rome, but without our knowledge or permission, switched us to another hotel 6 miles outside of Rome, so EVERY trip required a half mile walk to a bus stop, for a 30-50 minute ride and 3 bus fares each way, to get to the attractions, instead of a 15 minute walk. The hotel Roma was great, but there were MUCH cheaper hotels in that neighborhood, so far away.

My terrible rating has nothing to do with the Hotel Trevi, as our reservation was not honored there. For our final night in Rome I specifically picked the hotel for its location - within an easy walk of the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the Pantheon. I booked and prepaid for the room in full. When we arrived at the hotel to check in (on time), there was a line of guests who were agitated. The hotel was overbooked and we were all being relocated. The staff at the desk seemed like this was a routine occurence, and said it was the fault of Orbitz for overbooking. I had read in previous reviews that some people had been moved to nearby "apartments" which would have been fine with us, however we were moved to another hotel in their "Trevi Group" which was a considerable distance away. We were in a semi-deserted area with no one on the streets and had to wait almost 45 minutes for a bus to get back to the Trevi Fountain area where we were planning on being in the first place. We were travelling with children and didn't feel safe. The hotel they moved us to was lovely - a beautiful room with air conditioning, but ultimately it didn't matter as we were really expecting to be in a certain location. As I heard again and again on our trip, prepaying gets you nowhere in Italy - they've got your money, what do they care about their side of the bargain.

Hotel cujas instalações e serviços cumprem apenas os requisitos mínimos. Caro, para as instalações que oferece. Tem como única vantagem a localização extremamente central, que facilita a vida a quem quer conhecer a pé a cidade de Roma.

First, we couldn't find the place. It took us about 15 to 30 minutes because the directions were not good and the hotel is actually in an alley up the street from the Trevi Fountain. We would ask some of the shopkeepers or other hotel clerks, and they would just point and say it's up that way. When you have three different roads "up that way" you don't know which road is the right one. We thought the hotel was on the main road. The pictures on [...] do not look like what it actually is.Second, I was okay with being in an annex at first, but then, it was at least two blocks from the hotel, and we had to walk up four flights of stairs, there was no elevator. I have really bad knees and this was not good for me.Otherwise, it was okay. Don't bother watching television if you don't understand Italian though.

[...] when we arrived at the hotel on the day of our reservation, we were told that there were no rooms. They sent us to another hotel a few blocks away but it did not appear nearly as nice as this one. Of course we will never know for sure because we never saw the rooms we booked and paid for. So I rated everything as low as possible since we never saw or experienced this hotel which we had booked and paid for, therefore our experience with them was poor.

The best thing about the Trevi hotel is its location, it's a walking distance to the metro, the Trevi Fountain, a beautiful shopping area, lots of restaurants. The second best thing is that our room (a quad)was not located inside the main building of the hotel, therefore it was like a rented apartment, we could bring into the room anything we want, like fruits, desserts...at the same time room service was available whenever we wanted. All in all the hotel is clean, nice, convenient and practical.
