Villa Maria Residenza Rome

Un hôtel hors de Rome qui au premier abord parait plutôt sympa avec la piscine et des services payants certes mais plutôt relaxant comme des massages Oui mais voilà nombreux hic en perspective: l'adresse n'existe pas dans les GPS des taxis... donc introuvables surtout quand on arrive à 0h! Un numéro de téléphone injoignable la nuit (le numéro que vous demandez n'est pas attribué...) donc obligé de trouver un autre hôtel pour la nuit. On a quand même réussit à le trouver le lendemain, mais aucune considération de la part du personnel aucun geste commercial non plus.(prix du taxi + l'autre chambre d'hotel +++++++) Il faut prendre le bus Cotral pour se rendre à la gare Termini, selon les jours entre 1h et 1h30 pour rejoindre cette station (bouchons!!), billet à 7E. Il faut savoir qu'il n'y a pas de bus le dimanche... Ils disent avoir une navette à disposition, nous ne l'avons demander que pour le jour du départ pour nous rendre à la gare mais là non plus ce n'est pas possible... La chambre a le strict minimum en matière de confort, la literie serait a changé, l'isolation à refaire car le personnel n'est pas des plus discret la nuit ou tôt le matin, les insectes sont apparemment plus que les bienvenus notamment dans la douche... Je ne conseille donc pas cet hôtel mais la magie de cette ville nous a permis de passer un super séjour hors de l'hôtel!!

Hotel is difficult to reach by public transport, buses infrequent and irregular. Not rooms as such rather than little concrete chalets. No blankets on bed just a sheet and cover, told to use reverse air con unit to warm room with no instructions next day. TV didn't switch on, no remote control. Coffee machine difficult to operate, gave half cups. No breakfast provided, either cancelled due to Yoga sessions or just non existent. No loo rolls, silly door key that needed instructions on how to extract from door, wished we had booked a hotel in central Rome. What you save in accommodation fees you loose in transport costs, especially taxis. Hope to never see this hotel or the asssociated Turbintina Station interchange again ever.

I think one can find a hotel at a comparable price somewhere in the center. The good thing about the location was that it was really quiet out there. The bad: the location, it's far and it's complicated to get to. The breakfast could have been much better and the rooms a bit larger. A warning: toilets do not work properly at these premises.

This Hotel is a distance out of town. Be prepared to catch a blue bus every night out of town at 10pm. It has the character of the real Italy experience. You can enjoy the sights of Rome in the day and the pleasantries of the country side at night. There are shops and a bar and a place to eat within walking distance. Just dont leave it too late at night. Some minor domestic issues need sorting however in this Hotel like being without water one morning. Its was good value for money though.

The hotel was generally OK but finding it was terrible. The hotel is actually outside Central Rome on a route served only by bus that operates hourly. I had to check out early in order to book a hotel in central Rome. I would never book the hotel again.

This hotel is extremely hard to find for the tourist and in the end we followed a local who had some difficulty!It is also about 20 minutes from Tivoli. Service was poor as no-one seemed to know what was happening and when we came to check out the following morning no-one was available apart from the girl making breakfast who understandably did not know the reception system.

Room is spacious and the appliance are new. But the bed is very soft (you can feel the spring). My room is a "twin room" - separated by a door with the other room. There sound proof is terrible. I can hear everything such as a cough or flushing toilet. There is a bus commuting to the city. Be sure you know the schedule because the frequency is very low. For coming back, it is like 8:20pm, 9:15pm, then 10:25pm. So if you miss one, you might have to catch a Taxi (35-40 Euro).

The Residenza Villa Maria was comfortable. It was a ways out from ROME, but it ended up being nice and comfortable, fresh air and a breeze. The staff was great and helpful. The rooms were decent sized with a view of the garden area. It had a pool and work out area. The lounge offered reading/ sitting areas. internet availability, a pool table, fooze ball and vending machines. The rooms were airconditioned withe personal controls. The Inn is being renovated so improvements are occuring, but did not bother the guests. The morning beakfast choices were great and included. There is a shuttle in the mornings to the metro station, but don't forget to sign up. There is also a city bus, but tickets can be hard to find. Tom and Jerry's bar in town sells tickets and bus top is right outside the bar. There are not any eating places open late so eat before you return in the evening. This is in a small town outside of Rome.

nice people run this vila but it is very noisy, you can easly hear people is the next room even if they talk quietly,also it would be wise to inform guests who wish to take the local bus, they should buy there ticket before travel (they can be bought at most local outlets at 1 euro each) we did not know this so the bus driver charged us 7 euro. for a 1 euro trip

Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Staff serviable. Petit-déjeuner inclus très correct (buffet à volonté, large choix). Dommage que la piscine ait été fermée et que la borne Wifi ne soit pas configurée correctement. Un peu loin de Rome, mais en 10 minutes nous rejoignions le centre commercial Cineccita (parking 5€/jour), puis métro jusqu'au centre. La pizzeria familiale à côté de la Residenza Villa Maria est correcte; le restaurant de spécialités est absolument fantastique si vous êtes amateur de bonne viande, de bonnes charcuteries et de vin italien.
