Temptation Resort and Spa - All Inclusive Adults Only

The good: *large tiled shower with rain style shower head fixed to ceiling *great food at reservation restaurants and breakfast buffet *somewhat easy to make reservations at the two restaurants that require it, but you must call the day before *great service by all hotel staff *quick service to get drinks at all bars *fun activity coordinators *tame clientelle and activities. I was braced for a really forward crowd but everyone was just cool and friendly. No pushy swingers. *we met a lot of great, fun people. The room for improvement areas: *air conditioning in room inadequate even on high *food at non reservation restaurants sub par *bed had only a sheet over the mattress. Badly stained mattress. Ewwww. *overall the hotel shows signs of wear. Could use some updates. *beach and water full of sea weed *short beach. If you like to go for long walks on the beach go to the central hotel zone. There is a waterway and large bridge cutting off access to walk very far. *DO NOT go to CocoBongo. $65 per person and not a real night club. Rail alcohol. No room to dance. Bad show. *night time activities VERY loud like a stereo on full strength in your room, but the party itself is small and lame. *this didnt bother me, but if you hang out by the sexy pool you will see naked men and women mostly during the games. Its tame, like a contest where men get 60 seconds to round up as many bikini tops and bottoms as they can. But beware if you give yours up... you will have to walk up in front of everyone to get it back. In other games if guests choose to get fully naked no one stops them. *hotel is far away from cancun hot spots. Every night is an expensive package trip to pay to take a bus there, then you have to pay your own taxi back to the hotel. I would rather find a hotel more central in the hotel zone that I could walk to all the fun spots. *staying here is a lesson on accepting everyone for who they are. Everyone there is not 20 something and perfect. Be ready to adjust your mind to middle aged or overweight people and seeing more of them than you may be prepared for. By the end of our stay they were all our friends, but something to know going in. *all inclusive does not include water at the bars. You get one large botle per room per day. Sometimes they will send more to your room, sometimes they wont. Of course you can buy water at the gift shop.

Very good hotel, clean room, safety area ,great entertainment.

Hotel was not totally as described. $15 wifi a day and they will try to sell you a "time share" package. Food was awesome. Service was also wonderful. The room had some downsides (air cond broke twice., needed paint and updated) The views and the price are beyond awesome for the quality. We did dolphin discovery which was wonderful as well as kayaking and taking the ferry.

Fantastic. Great Staff. Nice rooms. Pool party is amazing.

This is a great resort that would probably actually rate a 3 or 4-star for amenities, but the fun created by the entire staff and the great service from everyone along with a huge crowd of repeat visitors makes this the best resort for grown-ups wanting to let their hair down and party like they where in college again. Realize though you have to go wanting to party; if not, look for something else. The quiet pool is nice, but you can find nicer for that kind of vacation.

The Good: As advertised, it's a entertaining setting with lots of fun games, good food, dated but very clean rooms, friendly/helpful staff and an adult atmosphere. The Bad: The beach. Initial sales pitch for time-shares. The Ugly: No free wi-fi. Absolute no-no in 2013. Sexi pool can get a touch dirty by the end of the day. The Verdict: While there are a few minor issues, the bottom line is that the return rate is in the high 90%. Well worth trying out. We will visit again.

I paid extra for ocean view,no view of the ocean. also requested king bed,room had two full beds.

Really enjoyed this vacation! Hotel staff are amazing unlike any other place we have been in the world. You owe it to yourself to experience this resort!
