The Ritz-Carlton Cancun

Very good and the concierge was supberb Not sure this hotel is the best value ritz with such good local competition but we throughly enjoyed the resort

Though you could comfortably bring the kids... Why? Amazing service, great food, literally everything is convenient. Not cheap, but hey, it is the Ritz Carlton.

Our stay at the Ritz was fantastic. The staff, in particular, was exceptional. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and hardworking. It was our anniversary and they went above and beyond for us to make it an even more incredible trip for us. Thank you for an unforgetable vacation!

This is what all hotel chains strive for. Consistency. If you pay for 5 star you expect 5 star and the Ritz Carlton delivered. From the moment that we arrived until we left, the service was top level and always at hand. The facilities were perfectly maintained. The staff was constantly available without being intrusive. While the hotel is large you never felt crowded or had to wait. it was obvious that a great deal of time and effort goes into maintaining the standards that 5 star designation requires. Definitely will be back.

The Hotel is lovely...and YES the rooms are a bit tired. To make the point; the hotel air vents that shares cool air is also connected to each room as we found. - As our neighbor started smoking cigarettes at midnight for a couple hours. The Smoke ended up in our room all night. The second night was a too much...he smoked CIGARS from around 12:30 to 2 in the morning. This left us gasping for air and no sleep for a second night. The kicker was the Front Desk Manager. When we explained the issue and that we had notified the front desk the day before; he told us we are departing today and we paid our booking throught Obz.I explained again that it the cigar smoke that was the issue and why was he addressing Obz? I asked what does that mean? He said, Obz has not paid us for the room yet. In my shock and confusion I asked him call his Manager. After explaining what her manager did, in front of of the man, he turned his nose up and refused to answer questions. So, Obz, I think you need to find out if your clients are being respected, as we obviously were not due to being an Obz customer in the RITZ CARLTON IN CANCUN.

From the car service that picked me up from the airport, to the waitstaff on the beach...friendly attentive bilingual service made this vacation unforgettable. This wonderful hotel is located on the softest, cleanest sand in Cancun. An atmosphere conducive to relaxation and a location close enough to walk to the nearby fine-dining and shopping centers. Only a 15 minute ride to the airport. KIDS are allowed at this hotel.

It was the best hotel experience I have ever had. The management, staff and actual hotel and all its amenities were absolutely PERFECT. VERY SPECIAL. I cant wait to go back.

we travel quite a bit and often visit cancun because you can get there non-stop from many locations. the ritz carlton truly is a 5 star hotel. the facilities are grand and if you appreciate the older hotels of an earlier generation, this one is top notch. most of all, however, is the staff. from the pool attendants to the service people inside the hotel, they are all wonderfully helpful and eager to assist in any way. it is genuine and my wife and i appreciated it greatly. one problem: should a hotel of this status really hit you $20 a day to be connected to the internet?
