- The Act Mimic Hotel is a hotel of 92 rooms located in the Ciutat Vella of Barcelona, in the old Teatro Colon, next to Las Ramblas, the Port of Barcelona and the Avenida Parallel theaters. From the airport: Go to Highway Prat de Llobregat, and turn slightly to the left onto the C-32b where it should stay in the right lane. After 2 Km. merge onto the highway Castelldefels / C-31 towards Barcelona. Continue straight and stay in right lane to take diversion to the Ronda Litoral, exit 196b. Once incorporated in the Ronda Litoral straight for 6.5 km. Stay in left lane. Take exit 21 Ciutat Vella and join the Passeig de Josep Carner. Go straight until you reach Plaa de la Carbonera and take the 4th exit onto Avinguda del Parallel. Take the second street, Calle de l'Arc del Teatre. On the left you will find the Acta Mimic Hotel.

Bon emplacement mais chambre trés petite
à 5 minute de la rambla, vous êtes à proximité de toute les attractions du centre. cependant l'hotel est situé dans un quartier vetuste qui n'est pas cohérent avec son coté moderne. déco noir et blanc Notre chambre était trés petite le lit deux places équivaut à un grand lit une place. pas de fenetres, obligé d'utiliser la clim pas de rangment pour les valises, il y avait un simple portant avec trois cintres la plus grosse deception été le vi à vis en plein sur des immeubles délabrés avec des vetements accrochés aux fenetres. mauvaise insonorisation

Cet hôtel a confondu sobriété et dépouillement, ambiance branchée et incomfort : à part 4 pauvres cintres sur une tringle, AUCUNE ETAGERES NI TIROIRS pour ranger quoi que ce soit. De plus, afin de faire moderne, la salle de douche donne entièrement sur l'extérieur (avec vue sur des vieux immeubles pourris, classés juste au dessus des favelas), et la vitre "floutée" est pourvue de larges cercles transparents, permettant aux chers voisins de vous voir à poil sous la douche ! Enfin, pour couronner le tout, l'isolation est plus que médiocre. Seul intérêt : emplacement assez central. Mais si possible, évitez !

Beginning European travel
SLightly unusual hotel!
Modern, "boutique like" hotel in a good location within walking distance to Las Ramblas and the marina. Unusual black hallways and small, but very modern and clean rooms. Location was quiet. Restaurant and bar in the bottom floor and lounging area on the roof. Not too much room to sit down or put luggage in the room so would recommend for a short stay. Was able to store luggage in the bottom floor and go sightseeing until our room was ready (slight fee). Less expensive at this location to get a taxi to it from the cruise ship (approx. 20 euros) and to the airport (30 euros).

Short walk from hotel
Walking down Arc el Teatre to the famous area Las Ramblas took about 10 minutes. From there you could walk another 20 minutes to catch the "Hop on Hop off" bus at Placa Catalunya. There are also eating places near the hotel on Avenue Parallel, where you can flag a cab for other parts of the city or the airport.

Quiet place near Rambla. But t
Quiet place near Rambla. But taxi-drivers have problems finding it. even with GPS. OK breakfast. Small rooms, but we didn't spent the time in our room. The cleaning was excelent. Greeting from a couple over 60.
