Confortel Pio XII

Bonjour a tous, a propos de l'hotel pio 12 j'ai étais légerement deçu personnelement. J'ai trouvé que l'établissement n'étais pas a la hauteur d'un quatre étoiles. Tout d'abord pas de clim a l'accueil ni dans le restaurant et vu la chaleur qu'il fait l'été autant dire que c'est indispensable, ensuite la chambre est plutot spacieuse mais le parquet est en mauvais état avec des taches plus claires, plus sombres, le bas de la porte de la salle de bain est très abimée et dans la baignoire il y a un coup donc plus de peinture, un petit trou noir. Les magasines qu'il propose sont bien mais eux aussi très abimé.. Pour finir nous avons pris un petit dejeuner a 9€ sachant que a ce prix on peut se gaver de churros (dejeuner espagnol) ou meme bien manger ailleur vers la plaza mayor. Un dejeuner classique avec un peu de tout salé, sucré mais bon les confitures en barquettes plastiques et le beurre egalement et pas frais c'est pas genial pour un quatre etoiles. Le personnel de l'hotel est très agréable la chambre est propre avec serviette de bain, elle est equipé d'une belle télé mais que personne ne regarde on a autre chose a faire a madrid. Pour conclure cet hotel est trés moyen pour un quatre etoiles mais pas mal pour moins il ne faut pas s'attendre a du grand luxe.

This is really a well kept and run hotel. It provides all the comforts one could wish for. the staff is very friendly and helpful. There were only two aspects that prevented me from giving a full score for amenities. They are the following: - The washbasin does not drain quickly. It takes time, thus needing extra rinsing which results in more time to await the water to drain. - The computer for use by guests was often excruciatingly slow. During my stay only one of the tow computers worked. I was told that the other will be fixed. As for location, it was almost perfect. The hotel is well served by the metro and buses. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel door. And it is easily within walking distance to Chamartín railway station. The only thing that could possibly have been better would be to be located in the centre of town. And were that the case the price of such high quality accommodation would have been considerably higher. All in all, a very nice and comfortable hotel which is well located . Its staff is very competent and helpful. Considering value for money it is definitely the best hotel accommodation I have found for long. Finally, I would like to thank the staff for a pleasant stay in the hotel.

I stayed four days at Confortel Pio XII. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and spacious. This is a good value if you want some peace and quiet and don't mind the metro ride into town

The hotel is less than a mile away from the Charmatin train station, it takes about 10 mins by taxi and 25 mins by metro to get to the airport. It is new or recently renovated. Very friendly personnel, free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Great price!

El hotel esta un poco retridado del centro pero esta muy cerca del metro lo que hace la ida al centro muy facil y rpida. Tambien puedes llegar desde el aeropuerto en metro en 10 minutos

I can well reccomend this hotel as location and staff were great. The hotel is well positioned for the metro and a supermarket, due to it being located close to the fanicial district it is especially quiet especially over the weekend with only a few locals walking there dogs and very light traffic, The main tourist area of Sol is only around 25 minutes away and was only 1 euro each way with 1 train switch, here you will find all the things you would expect to find in a city with a great open top bus tour. The staff at the hotel spoke great English and all questions were answered. The staff on reception also gave us a local map with metro routes. All in all a great hotel, great staff but just remember due to location you will need to travel to local restaurants etc

The hotel is easily accessible by metro and by 3 or 4 different bus lines that ride very frequently. The check-in staff was very helpful and gave us a map of madrid and gave us tips about where to eat, how to get there etc. He also gave us the hotel's wifi info without being asked. Very impressive. Also the room was large and very clean. I would definitely visit this hotel again.
