Corus Hotel Hyde Park

Very enjoyable stay,no complains will stay again

The location is wonderful...very accessible to the tube and buses. It was easy to get around from there. I had a renovated room which was very nice. My father's room was in the older section and it was in need of updating. I did notice street noises and my neighbor's tv. The staff was very friendly.

I have stayed in London several times, and the Corus is by far my favorite hotel to date. The location is fabulous, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are terrific value for the price. I will definitely be recommending the Corus to anyone I know visiting London!

This hotel has a great location near Paddington Station. However, they gave us a room on the second floor that was not accessible by elevator and did not even offer to bell-hop service. When I mentioned this to the front desk, I was met by silence. This room was also over a back street so there was outrageous noise when the trash truck came by at 4am. There is only instant coffee offered in the room and the continental breakfast was offered at 10.5L (about $17 dollars per day per person). Also, the consierge was not very knowledgable and gave incorrect information. Internet access was out of order often.

I had a standard double for single use. Room was ok, but narrow. I also missed a drawer or cabinets to put my clothes in. The room only had a open hanging rack on the wall.

Met really nice people including threeladies who'd just had tea with the queen. No joke. Great breakfast. Super location. Internet intermittent in room was a big problem for my job. Had to do my work in the lobby. Poor room temp control combined with duvet bedding made you too hot or too cold at some point everynight we were there

Good place, near to Hyde Park. Quite and clean. Big advantage if you arrive from Heatrow.

Corus should stress the location; it is one block from the Lancaster tube stop which has access to central London in minutes. Hyde Park is literally across the street making it easy to take a walk in the early morning or after dinner. There are several good pubs nearby and the staff was extremely accommodating. The concierge desk was always staffed and helped me many times during my stay. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is in an excellent location - very close to a tube stop which made getting around London very easy. We stayed at the hotel at the beginning of our trip, and at the end - only because of being offered an upgrade if we returned. Our 1st room was VERY small - even smaller than on any cruise ship we've ever been on. Our upgradedroom at the end of the of our trip was much better and I'd compare it to what you'd expect at a Holiday Inn or hotel of that type in the US. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and polite. Because we didn't spend much time in our room, even the small one was adequate, but beware when booking that the standard room is very small.
