Melia White House

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war sehr angenehm. Die Lage in der Nähe von mehreren U-Bahnstationen sehr gut. Leider gab es Unklarheiten wegen des Frühstücks. Wir hatten das Zimmer inkl. englischem Frühstück gebucht. Dieses Angebot gibt es im Hotel so aber nicht, so dass wir beim Check-in auf der Liste ohne Mahlzeiten aufgeführt waren. Nach dem Vorweisen der Ebookersbestätigung, auf welcher das "inkl. engl. Frühstück" ersichtlich war, zeigte sich das Hotel dann generös, und wir wurden ohne Aufpreis zum grosszügigen Frühstücksbuffet zugelassen. Also aufgepasst beim Buchen: Frühstück ist offenbar nicht gleich Frühstück und ein Ferieneinstieg mit Diskussionen an der Reception ist nicht das, was man sich wünscht.

Kaikki toimi hyvin vastaanotosta uloskirjaukseen; ravintoloissa hyvä ruoka, aamupala runsas jne. Ainoa miinuspuoli löytyi huoneen minibaarista jossa oli muutama tyhjä pullo, joista kyllä huomautin pois lähtiessä ettemme joutuisi niistä jälkikäteen maksamaan.

The rooms were somewhat small, but average by european standards. Breakfast was very pricey. There was a take out bar to get coffee and sandwiches with reasonable prices and the staff was very pleasant. The hotel was near 3 tube stations, which made it very easy to get around. Regents Park was only a block away and very nice to walk though.

Hotelli oli odotuksiimme nähden erinomainen. Aluksi kyllä tuntui kaikki menevän pieleen, kun hotellihuoneen luovutusta siirrettiin kolmeen kertaan "vielä 20 minuuttia" kommenteilla, ja aikaa kului reilusti yli 2 tuntia sovitusta. saimme huoneen vasta puoli neljä iltapv. Homma lopulta kuitenkin OK, kun viivytys lopulta kompensoitiin kun saatiin parempi huone (Superior) ilman lisämaksua, kuin oltiin varattu (classic room + king size bed).

Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

Location was good, 3 metrostation is near, so you can easily get anywhere you want! Great friendly stuff, good food and very nice pianobar with live music!

Huone oli hyvä ja siisti.Henkilökunta auttavaista ja ystävällisiä. Parivuode oli normaalimittaiselle naiselle 168 cm ja miehelle 186 cm lyhyt ja kapea. Kylpyhuone oli viileä ; oli poikkeuksellisen viileää Lontoossa, yöllä pakkasta.

The hotel overall is average. The foyer, bar, restaurant are all very nice, and definitely worthy of the 4 star rating, if not a little steep on prices. We had a classic room, and even though it was nice, it had seen better days. Furniture was tired and could do with a major make over. That said, the room was spotless and was kept very clean. At check in, they tried very had to up sell to a better room, but the price was high. Location not bad, easy walk to Oxford street. There is a open-top bus stop right beside the hotel, so that was handy. So, average overall. Have stayed in a few Melia's hotels, and the White house is at the bottom of the pile only because of the tired room.

Hotellin sijainti on hyvä. Metroasema on vieressä ja ostoskaduille on kävelymatka. Aivan lähellä on myyös suuri viehättävä puisto. Laadukas ja monipuolinen aamiainen. Huoneissa hyvät sängyt, ei liian pehmeät. Huonekoko Classic on varsin ahdas. Kannattaa valita Superior.

Das Hotel ist super, in 10 min ist man im der Oxford Street und hat auch eine Bushaltestelle für die Bustour vor dem Hotel. Auch die Ubahnstatiom ist gleich um die Ecke.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich werde bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt bestimmt wieder ins Melia White House.
