Nestled amidst the idyllic splendor of the glorious Somerset countryside, this charming Victorian Farmhouse truly exemplifies the spirit of traditional country living. Situated in the harmonious surroundings of historic Brent Knoll, yet just 5 minutes from Junction 22 off the M5, it is the perfect base from which to explore the area's many local attractions. This attractive, privately owned hotel is set within 3 acres of scenic grounds offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside, including the majestic Quantock Mountains. Peace and tranquility are very much the cornerstones of its ethos, and the Hotel is committed to nourishing an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation. These values are reflected not only in their enthusiasm for exemplary customer service but also in the property itself, with its' peaceful drawing and reading room, lovely art, lit fires in the winter and a sunny terrace overlooking the gardens in the summer. Lovely place!

What a lovely hotel. The surroundings are beautiful, the owners are extremely welcoming, and the room was great. I would definitely stay here again. I've stayed at a number of similar hotels, and this one is right up there with the best of them. It's an easy drive to the motorway as well. I ended up ordering room service -- just a burger and chips -- but the burger was so flavorful, and the chips were hot, crisp and delicious! I would recommend this one!
