Rica Hotel Gamla Stan Stockholm

Siisti & nätti vanhanajan hotelli. Hotellin sijainti erinomainen; rauhallisella paikalla hyvien liikenneyhteyksien päässä. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja palvelualtista. Aamupala todella monipuolinen ja herkullinen :)

Wonderful old hotel, quaint, comfortable, fantastic location, concientious staff, reccomended Wirstroms and opened breakfast early, even a fridge to chill beer and wine.

My husband and I booked 2 nights here, before our sons were to join us from Seattle. After looking at facilities around the city we decided to extend our stay here and get an extra room for our kids. The Hotel Rica did an amazing and seemless job of working out all my reservations, we stayed in the same room all 4 nights and they placed our boys in the room directly across the hall. We loved our rooms. We loved the breakfast and breakfast room. Healthy, nice variety of items and thoughtfully done. The staff in the breakfast room, and throughout the Hotel, were helpful and friendly. There isn't a better location to stay in Stockholm. We walked to the shopping street and Ice Bar. Visited Djurgarden and Skeppsholmen as well. Took a boat tour. Did a nice walking tour of Gamla Stan and then decided to just hang out in Gamla Stan, eating on Stortorget at the Grillska Huset and Chokladkoppen. We also all enjoyed shopping Gamla Stan. Lovely, comfortable and happy trip.

Mysigt med levande ljus i hotellets "vardagsrum" när vi kom "hem" efter teaterbesöket på kvällen - och där fanns också kvällsfika!. Vi gillade också att vi slapp plastkort utan i stället kunde låsa dörren med en vanlig nyckel. Det kändes småskaligt, vänligt och väldigt trevligt med individuellt inredda rum. (Dock hade flera gardinkrokar ramlat av i vårt rum). Närheten till T-banan är ett plus. Vi har redan rekommenderat hotellet till vänner och vi kommer gärna tillbaka.

Hotelli sijaitsee erittäin hyvällä paikalla metroaseman läheisyydessä. Ympärillä runsaasti hyviä ruokapaikkoja, kahviloita ja ostomahdollisuuksia sekä nähtävyyksiä. Hotellilla erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta, herkullinen aamupala ja hiljaista (vaikka kadun puolen huone). Suosittelemme ja aiomme mennä itsekin uudelleen!

The hotel is good in terms of its location and breakfast. Staff is very friendly but I believe that based on the price per night the rooms are rather small. Otherwise it was a good stay.

It's in a good location - as long as they're not digging up the road as they were when I was there. Don't expect a lively, bustle of activity - there isn't one. It's for sleeping ... and breakfast (which was really quite good.) A lovely old-fashioned building - reasonably comfortable and good value in a city that is eye-wateringly expensive.

The rooms were comfy but small but the location and price make up for it! Would happily stay again.

I stayed there for 3 nights and loved the location. Walking distance to most attraction and train is a block away. I loved the breakfast, best I had seen in 2 weeks of travel in Scandinavia. The staff was helpfull. Only down side was late night noise that can be loud at times but it didn't bother me. Dan

My room was cramped, about 8 foot square, with a child size bed and no place to put away clothes. All furniture and fabrics were decades old and tired. (Bathroom however was renovated and OK). This is a modest bed and breakfast, not a hotel. I had to leave and find another hotel.
