Travelodge Clearwater Central

Hotel Rooms were kept clean and bathrooms tidy Beds were comfortable, pool was clean.Grounds outside needed up keeping new bushes and a few flowers would of been nice. Also outside of Room should have some kind of chairs to sit on. .Breakfast ok Needed a little more variety.

The hotel was a great value and was very nice. The floors in our room were tiled which made it look brighter and it just felt cleaner. The hotel was easy to access and close enough to the beach and popular restaurants. Would recommend to anyone and we hope to visit again too.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were able to control the temperature, so it wasn't too cold. The manager was helpful and approved a late checkout that was a little later than their usual time.

Apart from the location and the noise outside our door, we had a very nice stay. Apparently, our room had recently been renovated. It was very clean and nice, with two queen beds and a microwave and refrigerator. The pool was right outside our room which was good and bad. As a result, it was somewhat noisy. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. The area around the pool was very clean as well and very inviting. I thought that the room was a little pricey for a Travelodge, but then what do I know? Overall, we were quite pleased. We had a nice time in Clearwater, and we were happy that we picked a place that wasn't too far from my daugher's apartment.

This was a great stay for the price! Very clean hotel, good breakfast, great pool area, and very friendly helpful staff. Kip was especially helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed here 3 times while we spend our one day at the ocean. Plain room two beds. Decent breakfast included- bagels,waffles,cereal,yogurt. Our room didn't have a fridge this time. Was told they are renovating all rooms and 80% have fridges. Would Probably stay again for same situation.

We stayed here for Phillies Spring Training. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location - walking distance to Bright House Field, next door to Lenny's, easy access to cabs, etc. It's a great value, but certainly not what you'd expect from such an inexpensive rate. They also have a great pool for relaxing. Quiet, but not desolate. We've stayed twice and probably will again!

I flew down from DC to spend a couple of days at the beach, and this hotel was next to the la quinta. Their sign for snow birds was no joke. The room itself was fine; you won't get room service unless the room service sign is on the door whenever they come around. Walking into the room it is incredibly humid and has a smell that sticks to all your clothes. I had to wash all of my clothes - including the ones still on my suitcase - because they were all damp and smelly. Overall it wasn't bad but if your going to be spending some time in the room this isn't the place for you.

i stayed for 4 nights in the nonsmoking king bed room. staff is pretty friendly. it had a coffee maker,microwave,small fridge,ironing board,iron,and blow dryer. very nice desk. the only thing wrong, they need to replace the mattresses. when i checked out the front desk person did ask me how my stay was and i asked me if there was anything that should be changed in the room and i told him the mattresses. he said that is the main complaint they get but they can not afford to change all the mattresses at one time. i suggested maybe doing 2-4 per month until they were all replaced and he said that it was all about the money situation. i can understand this but when you lay in the bed you have to really work hard to get out of the bed because of thebig oval indention in the mattress and dont even try to roll to the middle of the bed because it feels like you need to climb to the top of a mountain. The best thing is, THEY HAVE A FANTASTIC CLEANING CREW

The non-smoking room smelled awful. There was a general unclean feeling about the room and the whole place -- even the railing and walkway were really gross, and standing outside smoking I tried not to touch anything. The continental breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.
