The six-story Miami Beach hotel has 92 guestrooms. Rooms are decorated in art deco style. Beds have blond oak headboards and all white bedding, with built in shelves and silver bedside lamps. Richmond hotel rooms include armchairs, large mirrors, Plasma TV, faux-1930s clock radio, and deco inspired floor lamps. Closets include red umbrellas, safes, and bathrobes. On the walls are framed, enlarged prints of Miami Beach postcards. The Richmond hotel features an outdoor pool surrounded by a piato with lounge chairs, tables, and a spa tub in the shape of a half-moon. A winding cement path leads past a fountain to a key-coded gate, a small wooden boardwalk, and the beach. The hotel's cafe offers breakfast from morning until mid-afternoon, and in the evenings, guests can sit on the front porch, shaded by tall palm trees, to enjoy a drink.
There is a small, private patio on the fifth floor, which is available for all guests. Two meeting rooms have wooden floors and tables, and a third has been restored to resemble a vintage movie theater, with original art deco sofas and chairs, and a 100-inch screen. The six-story Miami Beach hotel has 92 guests room. romantic getaway
I really enjoyed the fact that you could walk out the back of the hotel and be on the beach. We stayed on a Thursday night and there didn't seem to be a lot of people there. There was live music next door that we enjoyed listening to Thursday night. The hotel is old but they seem to keep up on it. The down stairs was being painted when we were there. The staff was friendly though a bit slow. The Richmond was in a good location on the beach and within walking distance of stores, I would stay there again.

Convenient Location
The Richmond was a great hotel for the price, and the location was excellent because I wanted to stay close to all the action on Ocean Dr. and the beaches. It's within a block or two to all the restaurants and the shopping area. The room was clean and just big enough for the two of us.

The hotel has direct beach access, and you can even take a nice short walk to the restaurants or even Starbuck's for your morning coffee which is important for me. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach just outside the hotel too.

Great Value!
This is a great value for the money. The location was ideal. Near Lincoln Road and right on the beach. The room was well kept and large enough. The facilities were well maintained. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel to others.

The walkway behind the hotel runs along the beach, and leads to 16th Street and Lincoln Road to some of the best dining, shopping and nightlife in Miami Beach

Very friendly
I just want more water form the shower. Is weak the water pressure. I think the best of this hotel are the kindness and the bed. Is missing a little more care about the cleanliness.

Great Location!
Well worth it for the price and location, very centric to Lincoln Rd. access to the beach. Rooms were clean and well put together, very helpful and friendly staff. I had a great time at the pool, very private and relax.

Good location
The Richmond hotel was a very nice place to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was very professional and helpful. The room was excellant with a view of the pool and the ocean. The only negitive was the $35.00 a day for parking, although there is a public lot three blocks away that charges $15.00.

Vacation Friendly/Not for Business
The hotel location was excellent. It not only had a charm to it, but the hotel and the grounds were very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and did thier job well. The pool area has a lot of palm trees so that over half the area has no sun, which can be positive or negative depending on how much you want to get burned by the Florida sun. The hotel is old so the wiring ine rooms is fragile and one could not plug in a laptop and have the light on at the same time. Had to use the laptop on the bed, a little inconvenient.

The Lincoln Mall with both shopping and dining and people watching is nearby as well as the hotel has nice access to the ocean beach. A wonderful boardwalk goes for a mile or so that is between the beach and the hotels along the way so that your walk to anywhere can be done in beautiful setting.

Fantastic hotel
Great hotel¡ The room where we stayed was small but very comfortable and clean with a beatiful ocean view. We liked a lot the beach and the pool. We will choose this hotel every time we visit Miami.

You can find a lot of restaurants in Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road. We also recomend shopping in Sawgrass and in Collins Avenue.

Can't wait to go back to Richmond!
This is the great deal, we had a great time at a beautiful back yard and the pool ( pritty clean&good size 8F ) . Beach is close 3min or less. In Room : good bed and sheats , clean bathroom. They r all 1 bedroom , and no ocean view . Can't wait to go back!
