Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ORLANDO-OCOEE EAST

I called the morning of our arrival to tell them that we would be coming in on a late flight and to make sure we had the room we requested which had been booked through you one and a half months early. Upon arrival we were told that no handcapped room was available and that it was only a "request". We were told that if we had booked through them directly and not through you, we would have gotten the room. This came from the desk clerk as well as the main offices of Holiday Inn. They had empty rooms and I checked out 3 with the desk clerk until I found one with a shower we didn't have to crawl into a bath tub to access. Problem was it was at the end of a long hall. It was after midnight, we were tired, so we took the room. We had also "requested" two king size beds and paid extra......we got one bed. Cheap tickets helps to fill hotels and I would book through you again. Holiday Inn needs an attitude adjustment from your company!

clean and in the right location

Rooms had popcorn on the floor our second day and we didn't have popcorn at all. The breakfast was sub par compared to other holiday inn expresses.

In town for business and hotel was fairly close to work. Road construction made traffic a bummer, but drive was worth it. Clean, spacious rooms. Easy walk to eating and shopping all around. Quiet. Big, comfy bed. Quick check in and out. Great breakfast and early enough for me to eat, drink coffee, and read the free paper before work!

My trip to Orlando was to visit my sister who is in a nursing home and also to visit with her famly. Therefore I did not take advantage of the pool or fitness center, but they seemed well taken care of. There is much road construction going on on W. Colnial Dr. but once familiar with the hotel entrance through Dorscher it ia a piece of cake.

My Wife and I were there for a vacation and for a sports competition. Hotel was Very clean, Staff Friendly and informative, hotel modern and New with a large free Breakfast. Location was within a 15-20 min drive of anything you would want to see. Was exteremly close to an olive garden, chilis, logans, super Target and a Gas station which was nice.

Very pleased with everything

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. The room, although plain in decor, was attractive. Just about everything appeared new. Nothing showed wear. The bed was extremely comfortable, too. Cleanliness is very important to me in a hotel and this place couldn't have been more perfect. Everything was spotless. The free breakfast was very nice as well... they offered a variety of choices and varied their hot meals each day. The price of my stay was a real bargain as well!

The breakfast bar is great! Lot's of options. The staff was great, making sure all my needs were met. Checked on me when my Taxi got lost and then made arraingements for another guy to take me. Andy was Wonderful! I would stay here again.

Chose the hotel because it was near the funeral chapel to which I was going on Monday night and Tuesday Morning. I was dependent on cousins driving in from Atlanta for transportation while in Orlando and an airport shuttle to reach the location. When I arrived, I found there was no shuttle and taxi fare was ca. $60 one way. I was forced to rent a car because local family was not available to pick me up. Directions to the hotel were space and my GPS on the phone was fooled most of the time. Aside from wasting 4 hours on a 20 minute drive, the connection was OK. Once there the staff was helpful, the place clean and pool/exercise facilities were good. No noise that would disturb my sleep. The hotel had a map that helped me get around the area and make it back to the airport the next day.
