Peabody Orlando

The Peabody Orlando is truly a top notch hotel. It is spotlessly clean, the service exceptional, and absolutely beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful, clean, great location less than 4miles miles to universal. Two pools one lagoon style with a bar. Floor to ceiling windows. The hidef embedded into the mirror in bathroom. Fantastic exercise facilities. I've traveled the world and truly found this to be top notch. I understand the charm of disney hotels but minus the theme this place hangs with the best of them. Free trolley to restaurants. Nice staff. Maybe I got a deal but I paid 113 a night including rental car. Most disney hotels are 300 to 500, and they don't have full marble counters with tvs in mirrors.

We went last year to florida to visit family and friends. Had a wonderful time and the hotel was the best. Totally enjoyed the march of the ducks.

the only complaint is the lack of space at the entrance for vehicles

When I drove by the hotel, I was shocked to see they had added a big new tower right next to the original 1980s building. Taking a closer look, the section of the building that faces the pool reminded me a lot of the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach. Perhaps it was an intentional design goal. The new tower is impressive, and the rooms are large and comfortable. Location could not be better, just a few miles away from Universal, and right in front of the convention center. I don't think anyone will be disappointed by the hotel and its amenities, but I do have to say that the staff is not as impressive as the hotel itself. The front of the house staff in this hotel seems to be young, inexperienced, and unrefined. They lack the refinement of other brands such as the Conrad and JW Marriott. Better looking staff would also help.

We would DEFINITELY stay here again if we come back to Orlando - it is like a Vegas hotel - very big, glamorous, contemporary and clean. The March of the Ducks was a SUPER cute added extra bonus - my husband and I made sure to check out their entrance and departure - definitely something to see, it's adorable. The hotel is right across from the convention center, so it is a perfect place to stay if you need to be there. There are 2 different pool areas - be sure to check out the pool area that is street level! There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance of the hotel (or a short trolley ride - free day tickets provided by the hotel concierge), but we visited the B-Line diner, which is in the hotel, a couple of times to eat - WONDERFUL food and beautiful, yummy deserts! Room was soooo comfy, beautiful bathroom and a TV built into the bathroom mirror! The downsides to this hotel are 1) the stupid daily fees that they charge for amenities like bottled water in the fridge, use of the fitness center, etc. (they should just build it into the daily costs so that we don't know any better!) -and, 2) there are not any shuttles to the theme parks (you have to cab it - unless you go to Universal Studios, you can take the I-Ride trolley and then it's about a 15-20 minute walk), and we were misinformed by the concierge on the approximate cab ride costs to Disney's animal kingdom - it was more than TWICE as much! Word to the wise - just take the Mears shuttle or a YELLOW cab if only 2 are traveling to Disney! It's cheaper! We took an unlabeled cab to the park and had to pay a $14 parking toll, even though we were just getting dropped off by the cab : ( - apparently, taking a shuttle or yellow cab is better because they eat this fee... we were NOT happy about this!

The enviroment is good. Staff is nice. But I called to require them send me the invoice/receipt the day before yesterday. But I still haven't received it in my email.
