BEST WESTERN Inn Hershey

Lovely place! Excellent Staff! Very close to the Hospital.

Had two rooms. 1 room was dirty and dusty. The other was okay but the shower didn't work well. Very little to no water coming out of the shower head.

The location is good! The bedding was nice and updated but the room was not. The lighting was very dark And the Hallways and room smelled a bit old as well. Staff at breakfast though we're very friendly!

This hotel was fine while I visited Hershey for a conference at the Hershey lodge. Pluses include: friendly staff, clean rooms, computer in lobby and great breakfast (waffles, yougurt, fruit, etc.) It is not walkable to downtown though, so if you don't have a car call Sweet Rides taxi service.

The Hotel manager and staff were excellent. The Hotel had an oder to it. I had two rooms one had no oder but the other was terrible. The hotel did compensate. In a pinch only, I would stay there again.

For the price, we didn't think this was worth it. Although the bedding was very pretty and cozy, the beds were uncomfortable and noisy when you rolled over at night. The ceiling in the bathroom clearly had a water issue. I wasn't expecting much from the continental breakfast and was disappointed by it. The hard boiled eggs were rock hard and the waffles were cold and tasteless. The pool and hot tub were nice. The staff was wonderful.

It was very comfortable, and perfect for the family. We just wish it would have been cleaner. The towels were noticeably old, and the bathroom and beds definitely needed to be cleaned.

Quick trip to the park. My 7 year old daughter loved the pool & the hot tub.

I picked this hotel in Hershey based on the pool. I am the mom to 3 kids ages 6,2 & 4 months. The room smelled REALLY BAD! I noticed that the staff was sprinkling the hallway carpet with carpet vleaner but the room could have used it too. Our room was not va cuumed before we moved our stuff in. The bathroom was small but worked ok. Water pressure very low in shower. Free breakfast was good. Fresh waffles, assorted pastries and cereals, hard boiled eggs etc. I had read all the previous reviews that ranked the hotel poor but decided to book anyway because of the pool. Pool was awesome and great for younger kids. Pool ranged from 1' to 5' in depth. The pool is in front of the hotel so you can see it from the road. Told my hubby, that if we had seen this hotel as we were driving by we would have wanted to stay there on our next visit because it looked so awesome! The outside is no reflection of the inside. Yeah the hotel room was not the best but how much time do you actually spend in your room when on vacation? In my family not much. We were outside at the pool and then off to Hershey park we went. We paid a lot to stay at this hotel so I am not sure how some of the reviewers got such a great price? Staff was young but very nice and helpful. Breakfast area is definitely small. Location great. when you exited the hotel, that road tool you right to Hershey attractions.

If you are looking for a good value hotel, this is it. The hotel is older and in need of some updates. It could definitely have been cleaner in our room, but we have certainly had worse. Keep in mind this is not a four star hotel, but the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The continental breakfast was great and the dining room was well stocked with a great assortment of food and plenty of tables (probably one of the best we've seen in a hotel of this class). The room was spacious, but due to aging, could use a reface and a deep cleaning. For example, our shower curtain had some mold on the bottom. We returned every night to find our room cleaned, beds made, and towels freshened. The front desk called every night to make sure we had all of our needs taken care of. The pool had constant supervision and was perfect for our 4 and 8 year old. Could use some bleach cleaning around tile. Located in a convenient location close to Hershey Park, town center, Indian Caves and plenty of restaurants and other attractions. In closing, if you want a super clean and modern hotel, this wouldn't work for you. If you are willing to deal with some dated rooms, this is a great deal. You'll be pleased with the staff and enjoy the continental breakfast feature. We'd stay there again.
